Therapy for Adults

In Person and Virtually Anywhere In Texas

You’ve been trying - and that counts.

Going about your days and weeks as a sub-version of yourself…feels phony and hollow. And that’s an understatement.

You’ve shown up late to work more times than you have fingers…and toes, the honey-do list makes you feel like a failure as you see the unchecked boxes, and you wince as you think about your morning where you snapped at your kid and slammed the door.

And on top of all of that, you “should, supposed to, and ought to” yourself constantly as you go through all the things you “should, supposed to, and ought to” be doing with your life…

…but you're not.

And all those roles you play? Spouse, parent, sibling, caretaker, professional…

…you feel lost in all of them and unsure how to just be in your own skin, how to just be you…and just feel OK with it.

And like you’re enough.

So you drown out the feelings and the negative thoughts with TV, social media, and (insert vice of choice) because it’s the only way you know how to cope. And it literally feels like it’s all you have time for.

It’s how you get through the day. And for now, it’s been working. Sort of.

But it means that you’re showing up as a version of yourself that you’re not super proud of.

Not by a long shot.

Man - it’s been really, really hard. And it’s ok that it’s been hard. It is what it is. And you’re here, looking for it all to feel better.

And you know what, You’ve done a great job at using what you’ve got.

Even if it hasn’t been perfect. Even if there’s some not-so-great habits, reactions, and negative thoughts tangled up in it all.

Life can feel a heck of a lot better.

Deep down, you know there’s a YOU in there that can win at all these areas in your life you’ve been struggling with.

Deep down, you know that you don’t have to think you’re a failure. That you aren’t enough. That people are better off without you. That you can’t seem to get it.

Deep down you know that life can feel a heck of a lot better.

Seriously. You know this.

Imagine waking up to conquer your day with a boat load more motivation and energy to do those things on your list, and to show up to work on time (or maybe you finally quit and go for that career you’ve been fantasizing about).

Imagine actually telling your partner that you did those things on the list (most of them), and you don’t have to numb out the heaviness and pain in the evenings with distraction and unhealthy vices

…maybe you play a board game with your kids (for a little bit because I mean there’s only so much patience right?), do a workout, meal prep for the next day, and actually get a solid eight hours of sleep.

Wow, does this feel so much better?

This is what you’ve been picturing. This is what you’ve been deep-down-knowing that you can do and live by…

…but just haven’t figured out how to get there on your own.

Which is why you’re here, reading this page and hoping that therapy can be the ticket.

Well, it can be.

And you deserve relief.
